When you walk through our doors at the Thatched Tavern, you will find antique fireplaces, flagstone floors and exposed beams, all of which create the perfect ambiance of a traditional and quintessential pub & restaurant in Honeybourne. The Thatched Tavern is a thirteenth century building with supposed medieval roots. It’s located at the heart of ‘old’ Honeybourne, or to the locals, Cow Honeybourne. You will find it dominates this beautiful part of the village, located on the outskirts of the Cotswolds near Broadway, Mickleton, Willersey, Bretforton and close to the cultural town of Stratford-upon-Avon. As well as being on the cusp of the Cotswolds, the Thatched Tavern is in the perfect setting to relax after a long day walking, cycling, or exploring this historic area.

If you love Italian food, the Thatch won’t disappoint. I have tried the pizza, the burgers, the ice cream and the Sunday Roasts, and all have been extremely flavoursome. The staff are friendly and the service is as it should be, I mean, not rushed and not forgotten! I highly recommend it.

Visited the Thatch today with some friends and the food and service were excellent. I had the lasagne and my husband had the burger, both meals were filling and you could tell it was all made with fresh ingredients. The deserts were amazing too, i had the apple tart and it was so delicious. I highly recommend visiting the Thatched Tavern Honeybourne.

What a Great Pub this is. The atmosphere is friendly & welcoming. A good selection of lagers & Real Ales. The Sunday Roast is up there with the Best. If your in the area & want good food or just a good drink after a long day then I can’t recommend this pub enough. Will definately visit again when in the area.
